Popped in on Sunday. A wonderful gallery filled with some beautiful art as well as crafted items. Hot chocolate was tasty too! We enjoyed sitting on a comfy sofa, sipping a hot drink and exploring all the art. Very reasonable prices too.

We had a really lovely time exploring all the art- so much variety and really nice to see so many local artists work displayed. Good prices. We also.enjoyed tucking into hot chocolates when we were there. The owner was really lovely and good to chat to.

Stayed at the bunkhouse for a weekend - excellent space, lovely and new and cosy, with everything you need. Popped into the gallery on our way out and there were lots of gorgeous artworks, trinkets, jewellery, pottery, etc. Would recommend!

Lovely gallery and refreshments, featuring artists from The Dale's. Prices are good, with items from a couple of pounds upwards.

Goodly mix of items. Paintings, photos, woodwork, pottery, jewellery. Cafe looked enticing but I'd just had something elsewhere.

A lovely independently owned gallery and cafe. The art was interesting and affordable, lots of cute things in the gift shop and very nice staff. Ellie went the extra mile for us and was very kind. We only had drinks so I can't comment on the food but we would definitely go back to try.

Chapel Gallery is such a pleasure to just wander around and perfect for unique artwork, crafts and presents - and coffee! Ellie was really helpful with great advice - some little knitted sheep booties were perfect for a friend's new grand-daughter. Well worth a visit.

This is a charming little gallery in a former chapel in Hawes. Just outside the main tourist part of the town, it boasts a small cafe, some wonderful local art on the walls - for sale, of course - and gorgeous hand-made gifts from local artisans, including a range of quite beautiful greetings cards that provide the perfect balance for the more cheesy tourist stuff available elsewhere. The owners are lovely and have put together a programme of workshops for visitors to try or indeed improve a range of crafts. We were there this afternoon for a spinning workshop, where our 13 year old son has just been taught a new skill that may just become his new passion. If there is one downside to the gallery, it's that it's accessed by some quite steep steps and is thus not wheelchair accessible. The owners would love to be able to install a lift, but the costs of doing so would not be insignificant. I managed to get in on crutches, and the road is quiet enough to be dropped directly outside, but step-free access is simply impossible for now. Visiting highly recommended.
