Interesting to watch the auction, and they didn’t seem to mind tourists being there (though is not really designed for tourists, it’s a working market for farmers). Office staff were helpful, and you can find out when the market will be open.

Great place to visit even on a rainy day, October sheep sales are fascinating, brilliant cafe with service just like it should be 😊

It's good to get to. Can stand and see the animals being sold, or sit if you like, a lot of seating. Separate a resterant. Serving sandwiches, plated meal eggs chips meat pie ect, very reasonable price.

Stayed two great quiet nights in our motorhome. We shall be back. Toilets 24-7. Fresh water tap and somewhere to empty our loo.

Stayed for one night in motorhome. Ground mainly flat, they had water, toilets and emptying. A short walk into the lovely village of Hawes. There is an honesty box for short stay, £2 long stay £3 and overnight which was £10. Would stay there again

Very basic facilities but it's a great place to stay..large car park area..public toilets..an honesty box to pay for your stay..and very close to a great little town of Hawes. Great pubs and olde worlde shops..all sorts..near the wensleydale creamery which a great place to visit. Quiet at night. Have to say we weren't there on cattle market day so can't comment on that or if it affects anything.

Stayed over night, toilets basic but very clean (which surprised me). Plenty of hard standing. Somewhere to empty your grey waste. Watched a beautiful sun set then stunning views to wake up to. Lots of rabbits and sheep watching. 4/5min walk to centre of hawes. Lovely chippy on the high street, cooked in beef dripping. Honesty box. Call ahead before you go. Would definitely stay again.
