I stayed here over the 2022 Easter weekend with my family and it was great. It is a lovely cosy cottage in the heart of the Dales with a homely feel to it. The cottage is ideally located, close to Hawes and several other points of interest such as Aysgarth Falls. Pamela was really helpful in her communications to us and very friendly. Middlegate was ideal for myself, partner and 2 children and I would recommend it to other families, couples and anyone who is interested in exploring the Dales with several walking footpaths available in the area.

What a lovely cottage everything you need for a stay, the couple who own it are very nice and helpful, stayed a couple of times and always a good Yorkshire welcome. I could go on and on about it but you will have to go for yourselves to stay at this little jewel in the Yorkshire dales just GREAT.

Lovely cottage, very well equipped and tastefully furnished and decorated. Burteset village is so quiet and there are great walks from there and nearby.

Had a lovely stay here over new years, rare to find it empty at such a time. Has everything you need and more. Hope to stay again soon.
